The UK nights where men can play with men
By Other Nights. Last checked .
By Other Nights. Last checked 2 September 2026.
Mainstream UK couples clubs (lifestyle clubs) write their rules around male and female pairings, so male-male play usually needs a dedicated bi night. Those run weekly in Bury, monthly in Swindon, several times a month in London, and in Glasgow, Darlaston, King's Lynn, Boston and Lutterworth. Written rules, dates and prices are below, checked 2 September 2026.
The rule nobody writes down
No UK club rules page we could reach publishes a sentence that says "no male-male play". The restriction is real, but it is encoded in other wording: statements of heterosexual focus, male-and-female couple definitions, a female-led norm, and separate designated bi nights. A man who wants to play with men has to decode all four.
Swingers & Sinners in Kings Cross, London states the focus directly in its FAQ:
"Of course bi men and bi ladies are welcome at our parties ... it should be noted that the focus at the parties is heterosexual play and most of the guests are likely to be straight"
The same page describes "the emphasis on play between those individuals with a penis and those individuals with a vagina", and points bi men to a different door: "we also run other sex parties called The Bi Fun Club where Bi activity is encouraged". Whether the club forbids male-male play outright is not stated anywhere we found. Only the heterosexual-focus wording is published.
Townhouse, in Tranmere on the Wirral, names the underlying norm in its FAQ: "The general rule is that swinging is female led." The same page is one of the few from a mainstream club to publish a written alternative: "we also host gatherings specifically for the LGBTQ+ community, including all-male nights, all-female nights, and our fabulous queer event, Queerspace" (their wording, printed as published).
What the mainstream clubs put in writing
| Club | Where | The written rule | What it leaves for men who play with men | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Swingers & Sinners | Kings Cross, London | "the focus at the parties is heterosexual play" | Bi men welcome; the club routes them to its sister event, The Bi Fun Club | 2 Sep 2026 |
| Townhouse | Tranmere, Wirral | "The general rule is that swinging is female led." | Separate all-male nights and a queer event, Queerspace | 2 Sep 2026 |
| Chameleons | Darlaston | Friday "Couples and singles welcome"; Saturday "Couples and single ladies only welcome" | Bi programme confined to designated Mondays; the Friday and Saturday position on bi male play is not stated | 2 Sep 2026 |
| Quest | Leeds area | "A private members club for open minded couples and singles." | Two single men cannot attend together as a couple on couples-only events; single male membership is limited | 1 Sep 2026 |
| Pleasures in Kent | Kent | "This party is a Saturday party for male/female couples and single ladies only." | Single men not admitted at Saturday parties | 1 Sep 2026 |
| Club Ignite | Not stated | "Couples are Male and Female only." (entry fees footnote) | The footnote may govern the couples entry rate rather than admission overall; we record it as ambiguous | 2 Sep 2026 |
| WICKED nights, Swindon | Swindon | "Couples M&F & Limited singles" | The same club's REMIX night is written as open to all orientations (below) | 1 Sep 2026 |
Rows dated 1 September 2026 are Other Nights index records verified on that date. The rest were checked against the organiser's own page on 2 September 2026.
The stigma on the record
The door wording sits on top of documented stigma. A 2023 University of Glasgow PhD thesis on bi+ men by Samuel John Lawton found that every participating bisexual man reported binegativity, "both implicitly and explicitly, the latter as threats or acts of violence from strangers". Its conclusion: "Bisexual men stand at a distinct intersection of stigmatisation, and binegativity is a unique social problem distinct from homophobia." Inside the scene, the Beyond Monogamy podcast's December 2025 episode with United Bi Swinging (a US show, so no UK venue facts rest on it) put it plainly: "There's so much judgment in the lifestyle from other people in the lifestyle." And on why it stays hidden: "Bi visibility oftentimes is not a visible thing. It's auditory."

London
The Bi Fun Club is the night Swingers & Sinners points bi men towards, at The Central Station Bar, 37 Wharfdale Road, N1 9SD. Its front page reads "EVERYONE IS WELCOME BI, STRAIGHT, GAY, TRANS", and its FAQ warns in the opposite direction to most clubs: "if you are straight and attend you must be aware this is a Bi party therefore there will be same sex interactions". No activity is compulsory.
PisSoir, from BiZarre Events on Friday 25 September 2026, is written as "explicitly for bisexual / LGBTQ+ males and females as well as Trans* or gender-fluid or otherwise diverse people". Membership is applied for automatically when reserving tickets, and phones are not allowed inside the venue.
The same organiser runs BiKINK, which Time Out's kink and BDSM roundup of February 2019 described as a smaller-scale party for "bisexual and bi-curious kinky fetishists", open to trans and gender-fluid folk, singles, couples and poly groups "of any configuration", with the venue disclosed to ticketholders only. The organiser's upcoming-parties page listed BiKINK on Friday 28 August 2026; the next date is not yet announced, and the only prices we can find are Time Out's 2012 listing figures. More events of this kind are on the kink events in London page.
Wearing Hers is a monthly men-only lingerie club night at MA1 Bunker Bar, 217-211 City Road, EC1V: "Club Wearinghers London is a men only space, we do not admit females." Trans men are welcome and phones go into the coat check.
Glasgow
LGBT Night at The Ecclesia sits in the club's "Gay/Bi Nights - All Genders" category. The event page states: "Whether you're male, female, trans, non-binary, TV/CD, or something else entirely. If you enjoy same-gender attraction and queer desire, you're welcome here." Advance booking is required. For some events the vetting does not ask for nude photographs. The club's play party, The Fucking Bronco, is also written as open: "People of all genders and across the gender spectrum are welcome, whether attending alone, as a couple or with partners." More on the Glasgow page.
The north west and Midlands
Biphoria at Partners in Bury is the most frequent night on this list, every Thursday from 11am to midnight with no guest list: "Welcoming bisexual, bi-curious and open-minded guests, couples and solo visitors."
Chameleons in Darlaston keeps its bi programme to designated Mondays: "Strictly for bisexual and bi friendly customers only. TV's are welcome". The events page marks a bi sexual Halloween party for Monday 2 November 2026 (see the listing) and a Bi Christmas party for Monday 21 December.
Townhouse's all-male nights and Queerspace are named in its FAQ, quoted above. Their dates are not yet in the Other Nights index.
Libertine at Liberty Elite in Lutterworth, Friday 4 September 2026 at 7.30pm, is a dance party night (club night) with an LGBTQ+ and enby focus: "Couples, thruples and singles all welcome." Membership is completed at reception on the first visit with a driving licence, and phones are switched off at reception and locked away.
The east
Bi Night at The Annex in King's Lynn admits MF couples, single women and t-girls without booking, while single bi men must book in advance to request an invite: "As a single, you must be bisexual or bi-curious to attend these sexy party nights" (their wording). Single men need the £5 lifetime basic membership with photo ID. Phones are banned from the main venue.
BIphoria at Chunky Muffins in Boston, Lincolnshire welcomes bisexual individuals, couples and poly groups: "This night are for Couples Single FEMALES Single MALES" (as published, grammar theirs). Minimum age is 21 and recording of any kind is banned.
REMIX, Swindon
REMIX is the third-Saturday night at Swindon Swingers. Where the club's WICKED nights admit "Couples M&F & Limited singles", REMIX is written as "Open to Gay Straight Bi and everything in-between" and, in the organiser's own capitals, "WE WELCOME ALL SEXES ALL RACES ALL GENDER IDENTITIES ALL SEXUAL ORIENTATIONS". It runs 21:00 to 02:30 with around 200 attending, pay on the door, 18 plus, no membership needed. The published price list names M+F, F+F and single rates; what a male couple pays is not stated, so check with the club before travelling as a pair. More on the Swindon page.
Every listing linked above keeps the organiser's stated wording separate from the fields Other Nights has verified, and each carries its last-checked date, because door rules change without notice. For the wider picture, browse couples nights in London (lifestyle), the full London index, or play parties nationally. If a party is a bigger first step than you want, a beginner-friendly meet-up in a pub (munch) is the gentler route in.
