Report a problem
One page, five routes. Tell us which kind of problem it is, because they go to different places and move at different speeds.
Email report@othernights.com with a link to the listing and what is wrong. There is no form on this page, so for four of the five routes that address is the only way in. If the listing is yours, claim it: a person reviews the claim, usually within 72 hours, and approval gives you a dashboard where you can send a correction for any of your listings. A person reads that and applies the change by hand, so it is not instant. Claiming needs JavaScript for the sign-in step; the address above works either way.
Anything involving someone under 18, coercion, or trafficking is escalated immediately and the material is removed before we investigate. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police on 999 first.
What to use this for
| Kind of report | What it covers | Target response |
|---|---|---|
| Something is wrong | Wrong date, price, venue, or entry rules, or a cancelled event | 5 working days |
| It’s my listing | You organise this and want to correct, claim, or remove it | 5 working days by email. Claiming is reviewed in about 72 hours, which is the claim itself; a correction sent afterwards joins the same queue as an emailed one. |
| Copyright or trade mark | We are using your image, text, name, or mark without permission | 5 working days |
| Privacy | You are named or identifiable in a listing and want it corrected or removed | Within 1 month, as the law requires |
| Unsafe or unlawful | Anything involving a minor, coercion, trafficking, or an unlawful event | 1 working day, escalated immediately |
What to include
For any report: a link to the listing, what is wrong, and how to reach you if you want an answer.
For a copyright or trade mark report
- what material is yours and where it appears on our site;
- where the original is, or how you can show you own it;
- your name and contact details; and
- a statement that you believe the use is not authorised and that what you have told us is accurate.
For a privacy report
Tell us which listing names or identifies you and what you want done. You do not have to explain why.
What we do
- We log the report with the date and the route it came in on.
- We assess it. Where the risk is serious, we restrict or remove the material first and assess afterwards.
- We decide, and we record the decision and the reason.
- We tell you the outcome, if you gave us a way to reach you.
- Where a decision affects an organiser’s listing, we tell them too and give them a route to respond, unless doing so would be inappropriate.
We keep the original report and our decision. We need both if a decision is later challenged.
If you disagree with a decision
Reply to our answer and say what you think we got wrong. A different person reviews it where we can arrange that, and we reply within 10 working days.
If we removed your material after a rights complaint and you believe the complaint was wrong, tell us. We will put your response to the complainant. We may restore the material where the position is clear, and we may keep it down while a genuine dispute is unresolved.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled personal information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. If you are an organiser and we cannot agree, the organiser terms set out the position.
How to reach us
Email report@othernights.com. Say which of the five routes it is, so it reaches the right queue.
There is no form on this page. We would rather say that plainly than leave you hunting for one. If we build intake forms later, this address keeps working.
What we do with the information in a report is set out in the privacy notice. The rules a listing has to meet are at listing rules.
