What happens
Meeting new people can be awkward enough. Trying to work out whether someone might be a new friend, a fellow kick-curios human, a future play partner or the beginning of a delicious little crush…even more so.
Kinky Connections is a warm, playful evening designed to make that bit easier.
First and foremost, this is about meeting other people in the kink community. Come as you are, bring your curiosity and see who you connect with.
Alice will guide you through the evening, starting together before moving into group activities designed to get conversation flowing without putting anyone too firmly in the spotlight. You’ll have the chance to talk kink, discover shared interests, explore curiosities and get to know people beyond the usual small talk. No kink encyclopedia required. The point isn’t to know everything. It’s to be curious, be yourself and meet other people doing the same.
Then we’ll move into our speed rounds. You’ll meet people one-to-one, have a little time to chat, and decide whether the connection feels like not for me, friend or maybe something more.
We’ll finish with time to mingle, reconnect with people you enjoyed meeting and let the evening carry on at a slightly more casual pace.
What to wear:
Wear whatever makes you feel comfy, confident and like you. That might be something casual, bold and dramatic, a little flirty, or an outfit that lets your kinky side shine through.
A little note on matching:
This is an inclusive event open to all genders, sexual orientations, relationship styles and levels of kink experience. We don’t sell tickets according to any ratios. You may discover three new friends. You may leave having met someone you fancy. You may find some to come with to the next SiTC event. All of those count.
Any interest expressed during the evening is just that interest. A match never creates an expectation of contact, play, dating or anything else. Consent, boundaries and the freedom to change your mind continue well beyond the event.
A little about Alice:
Alice has been part of the kink community for many years, both in the UK & NYC. Their approach is rooted in lived experience, ongoing learning, and active participation in community spaces. They’re passionate about creating spaces where curiosity feels safe, connection is intentional and people are supported in engaging with kink in ways that feel authentic and sustainable for them.
